Drag Queen for a Day
Strengthening Talents’ & Leaders’ Human Skills for the AI Era
We transform talent and leaders into drag queens to practise, experiment, and strengthen, in a safe space, the skills the AI era demands most: curiosity, creative thinking, leadership and social influence, and resilience amid uncertainty.
A carefully crafted experience at the intersection of business and art.
“We're all born naked
and the rest is drag”
Ru Paul
Times for average all-so-similar corporate machines are over. In times where AI effortlessly makes everything look and sound perfectly polished and standard, but also somehow non-human, we as humans need to provide different value.
This is not so easy tough.
Years of corporate culture have normed and deformed us. Told us exactly who to be and how to show up and behave.
In this situation, understanding that how we present ourselves and behave is performative, is extremely powerful.
It helps us to become aware that we don’t have to be victims and just be the person who we believe we have to be. Everyone puts on a drag. Some make it work for them and for others it’s a painful “drag”.
This understanding gives us the chance to playfully experiment with and intentionally construct one’s own “drag”. A drag that is uniquely human, productive and provides value that AI cannot replace.
That’s why in Drag Queeen for a Day, we wonder what if…
… talents and leaders could be someone completely different for one day?
… talents and leaders were freed from all constraints present at work?
Strengthen Human Skills for the AI Era
AI is reshaping work: routine tasks are increasingly automated, leaving humans to navigate complexity, ambiguity, and constant change. Thriving in this environment requires distinctly human skills such curiosity, creative thinking, leadership & social influence, and resilience amid uncertainty.
Drag provides an alternative space.
Transforming talents and leaders into drag queens for one day, helps companies to:
Unlock talents’ full potential
Talent potential is often not fully realized — not only because organizations fail to provide the right environments, but also because many individuals lack the confidence to take space and be visible.
Drag is an empowering experience
It provides a safe training space for talents to practise courage, taking risks and being visible.
Provide training with lasting impact
For sustainable learning impact and behavior shift, truly human skills must be trained and practiced in immersive, embodied experiences in groups — not just studied on a screen.
Becoming a Drag Queen for a Day is an embodied learning experience.

We ask our participants to reflect and design an own drag character.
Unlike acting, drag not about playing a completely different character. It is a deliberate construction of a character that in some way relates to its designer.
It is a character that is freed from what limits its designer in their everyday life and explores fantasy versions of its designer.
For this, our participants have to deeply reflect on what they keep from their regular personality and behavior, what they would love to explore that they usually cannot and define how that translates into a tangible & strong human brand.
Especially for large organizations where visibility and sharp positioning is important, learning how to design a strong human branding is a valuable tool beyond the drag queen experience.
We meet in a club with a real stage, mics and show effects to create an alternative, safer world for exploration.
We reflect in groups. We’re all students and teachers. Empathic listeners. Courageous and vulnerable contributors.
Our drag artsists transform everyone into a drag queen. 2h. 1:1. An intimate dialogue between business and art.
After 2h of makeup, our artists will mount a wig and provide a colorful costume.
The participants will look at themselves in the mirror and not recognize themselves.
In our pilot run, this was a magic moment. People started to behave differently. They put aside their everyday mask. They were fascinated by their new mask and curious what they could do with it.
We play to explore our embodied cognition.
We step out of our comfort zone. To learn how we behave outside of it. To learn how it feels trying different behaviors.
We celebrate each other. We celebrate being courageous.
Key part of the experience is the direct feedback from others.
It is not only about participants exploring their potential and the unknown but also about sensing and receiving direct feedback from others. That way the participants directly feel how others react to them.
In our pilot, it was empowering and liberating for the participants to feel that they were as much or even more appreciated by others in their different, more bold and courages versions of themselves.
